We're announcing the winners of the 2025 NICA Awards today through our NICA National channels.
Expect an early-afternoon
social announcement TODAY, Feb. 25, alongside a
website update and
email to our full NICA general audience. There are a ton of moving pieces in this campaign, so as always, if you notice any typos or errors - just reach out and we can address them.
Here are some ways that leagues can contribute to elevate and amplify our celebration. Remember that a FULL AWARDS GUIDE for leagues is posted in the Toolkit under the current resources section!
- TODAY: Share, repost, and engage with NICA National social media! Let's get the comments FILLED with messages of gratitude and congratulations to our winners
- TOMORROW/BEYOND: Create your own social posts: Leagues who have award winners* have been notified, and we've created NEW resources for you to use to celebrate those winners (including photos and quotes from the winners, info from the nominators, and a Canva template and sample social media copy, which have been added to the Awards Guide document)
NOTE: We suggest posting a day or two after the NICA announcement in order to spread out the Award winner messaging and extend our gratitude to these awesome humans for a longer period of time!
*Leagues who have nominees are also encouraged to post! We've included information in the Awards guide Canva template section that is applicable to your leagues.
- NEXT MONTH: Re-share and collaborate on individual winner posts: Over the next several weeks, we'll be posting more in-depth individual highlights of each award winner on NICA social media. Leagues with winners should stay tuned to the NICA Social Media calendar and look for collaboration invites from our team.
We are in the process of creating awards for each winner. Once received, we will compile the awards and a handwritten message from Amanda to send to the nominee.
Leagues with winners: if you would like to include a handwritten note from your league in the final awards package, please send it to us. We will follow up and provide directions on where/when to send.
