Minor updates this month, in addition to what's already been shared...

This month is a bit quieter than usual  as our team works to get Hubspot ready for your leagues. See our weekly posts on the Hubspot Marketing transition as well as Regionals updates via the MarCom Toolkit!


NEW RESOURCE!

We do have a new exciting resource! Leagues who would like a guide to social media (timing, cadence, suggested posts, and best practices) now have an additional resource at their fingertips:

  • Social media suggested calendar for leagues: This new guide has been added to the MarCom Toolkit and mirrors the same format as our suggested email communication calendar for leagues. Check it out and pass it along to your social media volunteers/managers!

This new resource has been added to the Toolkit in the social media best practices section.


Regionals
  • Our Regionals dashboard is up-to-date: it provides an at-a-glance look at Regionals-related deliverables/execution.

  • What we’ve worked on in April: We’ve completed an outline of our email communications from now through the end of the event; this includes about 18 unique emails per event! We’ve also finished all templates for event flyers. Race plates and awards are in progress. We expect May to be somewhat quiet but June/July will ramp up in terms of production of content in preparation for the event. Thanks to our host leagues for helping us with content to get everyone hyped on our venues!
  • What can leagues do now? Share upcoming NICA social media related to Regionals. Continue to promote Regionals when it works for you, using your channels, with your own league-generated content. Stay tuned for more templates in the coming months.

Our 2026 goal is to provide you with a regular, in-depth update on Regionals at the beginning of each month.

This will be in the League Director Monthly Running Updates but also will live on our MarCom blog, so you can review it at any time and share it with any relevant Marketing support staff.

These monthly updates will include league templates and resources as we continue to develop them, as well as communications highlights and important dates. Sean will continue to provide information during monthly Regionals calls. As events gets closer, you can expect more regular check-ins from the MarCom team. As always, please reach out with questions, ideas, or concerns.
