Week 3 Training is wrapped!

Our final HubSpot Marketing live training session is already next week! Can you believe it?!

Wednesday’s session focusing on our audience was a great overview of what HubSpot will allow us to do as we continue to refine how we segment and personalize our email communications. Our training summary doc and live recording are now available on the HubSpot Training Page - take a look and let us know what questions you have!

As a reminder - one major change with HubSpot is that our list-building within the email platform is much more advanced than with Iterable: rather than doing manual list uploads, we’ll be able to refine segments and make dynamic lists based on contact attributes in HubSpot itself. This also means that we’ll be providing an increased level of list-building support for leagues during the upcoming transition period. If you need a list that isn’t one of your 11 standard, foundational league list, please submit a help desk request.

🥁Now, for our grand finale…

Week 4 of our live training is about bringing it all together. We weren’t quite sure what this would look like until we made it through our first three weeks (we wanted to stay flexible in case there were topics that needed more discussion) - but we’ve got our final workshop planned for you! Next week, you can come to the training with the expectation to actively build and be READY to send your very first email from HubSpot. (We’ll also do a brief overview of file management in HubSpot, but that won’t take too long).

In our session, you’ll all create (and ultimately send) your own league versions of the same message announcing our change of email platforms. We’re putting together content for you - no need to draft anything; just come ready to build and play! We’ll walk through it with you and answer questions as we go. View a draft version of the email that you'll be building.

The only thing you may want to do before the session is to grab a league-specific photo that can serve as your hero image for an email announcing our platform change. You're welcome to keep the standard photo we have available, too.

Thanks all - please let us know what questions you have and keep the suggestions/feedback/ideas coming!

The HubSpot Marketing team,

Em, Courtney, and Tony
