RIP, Iterable!

Iterable is officially dead! RIP, Iterable. ⚰️🌹

As leagues navigate this transition period, it is important to follow our training plan in order:

  • Make sure you have gone through material from all 4 training sessions to familiarize yourself with the new platform. There are essential tasks to complete before you send your first email, and key differences between HubSpot and Iterable that extend beyond email marketing (CRM implications, file management, etc.)
    • All leagues who weren’t able to attend live training need to review our HubSpot Marketing Training Summaries.
      • Use the tabs on the left to navigate through each week, 1-4.
      • Use the final Training Summary link to review your knowledge and ensure you’ve learned all the essentials.
    • You can view ALL HubSpot Marketing materials here, including Scribes for common processes and troubleshooting (PW: MoreKidsOnBikes)
  • IMPORTANT: Before you send any “typical” league communication, we ask that you follow the instructions in the week 4 training session and send a “Our email platform is changing!” email notice to all of your contacts. This email content is already pre-written for you; all you have to do is build the email. As noted in the training summary, this should be the FIRST email you send from HubSpot, no exceptions. This sets you up for success on the new platform before you continue with business as usual.

Before sending any additional emails, ensure that any links you are including in your new emails were added directly in Hubspot, and are not copied from previous Iterable email content. All links that ever originated from Iterable emails/old Iterable content will no longer work. URLs that look like “links.yourleaguemtb.org will produce a 404 error and should not be used

Don’t forget to use our new NICA resources to make your life easier as you continue to send rad league comms from HubSpot! The email builder checklist is especially useful as you learn the new system.

Thanks so much for your time and attention to all of the details surrounding this transition! If you need any assistance, be sure to let us know how we can support. Submit a HubSpot Help Desk ticket OR schedule a quick call with our team to connect face-to-face.
